Projects are created in Clarity once there is agreement that the project is ready for planning and/or execution. This process is used to understand how to staff, forecast, and estimate on an ongoing basis to determine what the supply and demand of a project is, the trending, and how metrics related to the project impacts.
This process
of managing the staffing plan is owned by the Staffing Plan Managers,
who own the demand requiring strong collaboration with the Functional
Managers, who own the supply. It is not meant to replace the conversations.
Grouping
is a feature that allows the schedule of the Blue Sky and Full Life
Cycle Menu Project to leverage the full cycle schedule for forecasting
more accurately and reporting.
