M2.1: Update Schedule

  

Description

As the project progresses through its life cycle, the Scheduler and/or Scheduler Manager can update the project phase schedule to workflow to the Project Manager for approval and publishing.

Warning – There must be a “grouping” created by the Global Creative Strategy team for the schedule to be shown on all projects.

 

Project Schedules are based on the details of where the project is at in its current lifecycle.  All start and end dates for each phase are not required to be populated.

 

Only published (i.e., approved by the Project Manager) schedules will appear on the Phase Gantt chart of the Project.

 

Project Start and End dates from the phase schedule will sync to the projects in the grouping.

 

Detailed Steps

 

Step 1: Log in to Clarity.

 

Step 2: Create Phase Schedule.

  1. Click Phase Schedule icon.

  2. Select Phase Schedule Planning from the View drop-down list.

  3. Set Status to Draft.

Add link to revised an approved (i.e., published) schedule.

 

Setting a project schedule to Draft, will not display the Project Phases Gantt  until it is published .

 

 

  1. Select Project from list that you have access to that needs a schedule created.
  2. Enter data in to phases that are appropriate based on the details known of the project using the scroll bar at bottom to access all phases.  

 

  1. Select In Review from drop-down list in Status field.
