D1.1: Create Idea

Description

The Idea Creator creates an idea in Clarity.

This process is used to create new Ideas and to merge Change Orders.

 

Detailed Steps

 

Step 1: Log in to Clarity.

 

Step 2: Create Idea.

  1. Click Ideas Icon.

  2. Select Basic Idea View.

  3. Click New from Template button.

 

Step 3: Select Template.

  1. Select the correct Template from the list.
  2. Click Next Button

Step 4: Enter Idea Details.

  1. Enter Subject of Idea.
  2. Select Originating Requestor from drop-down list.
  3. Select Requestor Area from drop-down list.
  4. Select Manager from drop-down list.

Verify Portfolio.

 

  1. Select Park/Gate from drop-down list.
  2. Select Land from drop-down list.
  3. Enter Start Date and Finish Date from date picker.
  4. Select Fiscal Year from drop-down list.
  5. Select Tied to Fiscal Year from drop-down list.
  6. Enter the Deliverables associated with this Idea.
  7. Select Department (Cost Center) if needed from drop-down list.
  8. Confirm the Finance person for the project from the drop-down list.
  9. Click Create.
